Zipic is a native image compressor for macOS 13+ and Windows 10+ (Beta). It processes images 100% on-device: no uploads, no cloud, no account.
It handles JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, JPEG XL, TIFF, GIF, PDF, SVG and APNG, plus ICNS on macOS and ICO on Windows. Batch compression, conversion, resizing, six quality levels, target-file-size mode, EXIF removal and an identical-resolution before/after preview are built in.
The zipic CLI is built for scripts and AI agents. It returns per-file JSON, meaningful exit codes and supports --dry-run, so an agent can inspect a job before changing files. Install the official Agent Skill with npx skills add okooo5km/Skills4U --skill zipic.
