Image Aspect Ratio helps you find a photo's proportions and calculate the dimensions you need. Select a local image or enter its width and height to find its aspect ratio. Choose a ratio such as 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, then calculate a matching width or height for your layout.
Preview how your image fits square, portrait and widescreen frames. Compare padding with centered cropping before making changes in your image editor. Selected images are read locally in your browser, and exact calculation values are distinguished from rounded pixel results.
The calculator is free to use, with no account required. It returns dimensions and previews, not edited image files. Separate tools also cover video dimensions and ultrawide screen ratios. Source code is available under the MIT license.
