About

Tiny Desk AI is an independent web tool for making a personal AI desk concert from one portrait. It follows the Outstanding-inspired concert format, recasting the lead singer while using a prepared band, room and sequence of shots to guide the result. The aim is a short fictional performance that can be downloaded and shared with friends as AI-generated content.

The workflow is focused: sign in with Google, use a paid video credit and upload a clear adult portrait with visible eyes, shoulders and clothing. There is no prompt to write or editing timeline to arrange. The output is a roughly 19-second, 480p portrait MP4 with sound, band shots and singer close-ups. Results can vary in likeness, lip sync, movement, timing and audio; the tool does not promise an identical soundtrack or frame-for-frame reproduction.

The website lists one-time packs of one video for $9.90 or three videos for $19.90 in USD. It does not offer free generation credits, a subscription or automatic renewal. Credits last 365 days, and a confirmed failed generation returns its credit with the original expiry. Visitors can watch a real generated example before deciding whether to use the tool.

Uploads and results are private to the account. The site states that uploads are retained for up to seven days and results for up to sixty days, with earlier deletion available for completed results and their source photos. Users must be adults and have permission from the adult pictured. Shared videos should be labeled as AI-generated, and users should check music and platform rights before commercial posting. Tiny Desk AI is not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts or the original artists.
