Embedfinder turns a video link into an entry ready to publish. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo video, a page with a video player, or a whole listing such as a YouTube playlist, and get the title, description, largest thumbnail, tags, upload date, duration and the players the page publishes, ranked so the most reliable embeddable one comes first.
YouTube is read through its official API, Vimeo and Dailymotion through oEmbed, and other pages through Open Graph, JSON-LD and their players. It reads public data only; the videos stay where they are hosted.
Free: 5 links a day without an account, 10 a day with a free account, and the first 10 videos of a playlist. Basic (US$ 7/month) adds full listings, CSV export and 1,000 entries a month. Premium (US$ 19/month) adds 10,000 entries, a REST API, webhooks and a WordPress plugin that creates drafts with featured image, tags and player.
