About
Takehound is an AI video editor that runs in Chrome on a laptop or desktop, built for long-form videos where you talk to camera: YouTube talks, lessons and coaching videos. Add your recording and your own footage, then press one button. Hound, the editor's agent, makes the first pass while you watch. It watches and listens to the cut itself, not just the transcript. It cuts pauses, filler words and repeated takes, takes a fan or room hum off your voice, grades the picture with your face kept well lit, places your own clips, photos, slides and screen recordings where you talk about them, and puts your key lines on screen. Every change shows up in a feed with its reason, so you can overrule it fast. Where nothing in your footage fits a line, the line stays on you instead of getting a wrong clip. It never uses stock footage, never generates a shot and never puts words on screen that you did not say. Then steer it in plain words, undo any step, or edit by hand. It remembers how you cut and starts your next video from that. Export an MP4, or a timeline that opens in DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut. Your first video is free: sign in with Google at takehound.com. No card, no install.
