DeskBub turns a pet photo into an animated desktop companion that stays on screen while you work, study or browse. Custom pets are made from your own photo with AI-assisted animation, then paired with the desktop app using a pairing code.

DeskBub is free to start. Kaka, the built-in desktop dog, needs no account and no payment: five ready-made animations, adjustable size and opacity, plus water and stretch reminders.

Creating a companion from your own pet photo is a one-time purchase from $2.99. Basic includes one photo, one generation and one default action; Plus supports up to five photos and eight generations and keeps your favourite five animations. There is no subscription. Results vary by photo and action.
