About
I'm married to a server. She has worked two restaurant jobs at once, and she got tired of the ads in tip apps and the feeling of being nickel-and-dimed by something that was supposed to help her count her money. So I built her something simple. She liked it so much that she pushed me to publish it.
Tip'd is a free iPhone app for servers, bartenders and hosts. You log a shift in a few taps, and it shows what you really made an hour, tips and wage together.
Log cash tips, card tips, tip-outs and hours for each shift
Keep each job apart, with its own color, positions and hourly pay
See your hourly pay with tips, your best and slowest days, and your weekly and monthly averages
Set earning targets and savings goals
Record paychecks and export a yearly summary as a PDF or spreadsheet
Import old shifts in the app from a spreadsheet, photo or PDF. It's all read on your phone.
There are no ads and no account, and the app collects no data. Your shifts stay on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. It's in ten languages and needs iOS 17 or later.
The one thing that costs money is the optional Widget Pack, $0.99 a month, for Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Android and iPad versions are in the works.
