About

Spot the Cue is practice for the social signals people miss: sarcasm, a soft no, a forced smile, who's being left out, the kind of pressure that doesn't announce itself.

Each rep shows a real moment (a photo, a short clip, a text thread or a line of dialogue), asks for your read, and explains the cue in a sentence or two: what it usually means, when it doesn't, and what to do next. Ten reps take about three minutes, and levels get subtler as you improve. There's also an out-loud mode where you rehearse a reply and get feedback on pace, filler words and warmth, processed on your device.

Free to start: Level 1 of all seven skills, two quick tests and a tone checker, with no account and no ads. Full access is $19.99 once, not a subscription. Works in any browser and on iPhone, with separate modes for teens and adults.
