About
NoteOwl is a fully on-device AI meeting note taker for Mac.
It records calls from any meeting app, like Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, without adding a bot to the call. It recognizes who is speaking, writes summaries and action items, and tracks the commitments people make. You can ask questions across all your previous meetings, and every answer links back to the exact passage in the transcript.
Transcription and AI processing run entirely on your Mac, so recordings are never uploaded, and NoteOwl keeps working with the Wi-Fi turned off.
It also includes free, unlimited dictation that works in any Mac app: talk, and your words are typed where your cursor is.
Also included:
- A quick briefing before each meeting on your calendar.
- 22 note formats, from meeting minutes to 1:1s.
- Follow-up emails drafted for you.
- Audio and video recordings turned into text.
- 34 languages.
Free to download for Macs with Apple chips (M1 or newer) running macOS 26 or later.
