ListoRead is a free Chrome extension for RSVP speed reading: it shows any text one word at a time at a fixed point, with the optimal recognition letter highlighted in red, so your eyes don't have to move.

Press Alt+R on any page: it finds the main article automatically, or reads your selection.
Natural rhythm: longer pauses after commas, periods and paragraphs; more time for long words.
Pause to see the whole sentence and click any word to jump back. When you close it, the page highlights where you stopped.
Private by design: no account, no server, no tracking. Text never leaves your browser.
Interface in 11 languages. Works in Chrome, Edge and Brave.

No install? Paste text into the free online reader at listoread.com/reader.
