About

I build with AI coding tools, and I got tired of finding out the hard way that a "small refactor" had moved a button, broken a checkout page or quietly changed what an API returns. Tests pass, the diff looks fine, and then a customer tells you. So I built ShadowHare to watch what actually ships.

How it works

Point it at a page or an API endpoint and pick a schedule. ShadowHare loads the page in a real Chrome browser, takes a screenshot and compares it with the last one. For APIs it calls the endpoint and compares the response. When something changes beyond the sensitivity you set, you get an email with the before and after side by side.

Visual monitoring

• Pixel-by-pixel screenshot comparison, with a sensitivity you choose for each job

• Exclusion zones for clocks, ads and carousels, so they don't set off alerts

• Full-page capture, load delays, and waiting for an element to appear

• Pages behind a login: sign in to the site in Chrome, click the ShadowHare extension, and it's monitored as you see it

API monitoring

• GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE, with your headers and body (stored encrypted)

• Alerts on changed responses, unexpected status codes and slow replies

• Watch one JSON field, or ignore the noisy ones

Also included

• A side-by-side viewer for every capture, searchable logs, and PDF/CSV reports

• A failed page load is reported as a failure, never as a change

• Business plan: unlimited users, roles, required 2FA, an audit log, and site agents that monitor intranet pages and internal APIs from inside your network - Perfect for professional Organizations and Managed Service Providers.

Pricing

Individual is $20/month for 10 jobs, visual or API. Business is $250/month with 25 visual jobs, 25 API jobs and 5 site agents. Both start with a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed. Plans auto scale with usage.

AI writes code faster than anyone can review it. ShadowHare is the second pair of eyes on what your users actually see.
