TapMap is a social network built on maps. Open it and you see a live map instead of a feed: places worth going to right now, today's events, and friends who chose to share where they are.
- A deck of places: swipe through food, bars, beaches and sights, ranked by many signals at once: your taste and cuisine, budget, distance, time of day, opening hours and weather.
- Your own maps: collect places, invite friends as admins, publish a map to the marketplace for others to add as a layer.
- Map styles: classic, terrain, satellite and themed packs like Western, Neon, Terminal and Comic. Anyone can create a style and share it.
- Routes inside the app with the best places along the way; tap one and it becomes a stop.
- Friends on the map (opt-in, one-way), chats and calls. A friend on the way to you shows up as a 3D car.
- A cat companion that lives on your map and walks with you.
