Local Commander connects your AI assistant to your computers through MCP. Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another compatible client to work with real files, run terminal commands, review Git changes and check local services - even from your phone.
Pair your home PC, work computer or test machine once, then choose where each task runs. Use it to fix a bug, run tests, investigate a slow computer or find information in your files.
You control access: allow your user account or selected folders, block commands and revoke connections. The dashboard shows which computer handled a request and whether it completed, failed or needs attention.
Works on Windows, macOS and Linux. The free plan includes five computers and unlimited executions. Your AI client needs remote MCP and OAuth support; the target computer must be online with the paired agent running.
