AlbumRescue is a Mac app, from us (Kayabyte), that copies your Photos library out of a Time Machine backup or a failing drive into plain folders. It only reads the library, never changes it, and checks every file with a hash so you can see what was copied and what is missing. The scan is free; exporting is a one-time purchase. Direct download, notarized, macOS 14 or later.
