Claude Desktop keeps one account signed in at a time, so switching between work, personal and client accounts means signing out and back in. Claude Sessions Pro gives each account its own copy of the app: on a Mac its own Dock icon with a coloured letter, on Windows and Linux its own window. Each keeps its own login, chats, projects, Claude Code sessions and settings. A menu bar switcher shows which account is in front and how much of its usage is left.
