About
Growers Ground is a garden-sharing app and website that connects people who want to grow food with neighbors who have yard space to share. It is built for gardeners and hosts in the United States and Canada.
The website is live now. Community garden maps and growing guides are free to use, with no account. City maps use OpenStreetMap and, where the licence can be confirmed, official open data. A pin does not mean a garden has open plots.
The app is not in the App Store or Google Play yet. It is launching city by city. Join the waitlist on growersground.com.
In the app, you browse a map instead of a swipe deck. The Discover layer shows people: hosts and gardeners. The Community layer shows public places such as seed swaps and community gardens. Locations stay approximate until you choose to connect. Hosts and gardeners agree on a harvest share, barter, or seasonal rent before anyone gardens. Growers Ground does not handle payments for plots.
