I’m Oriol, and for the past 3 months I’ve been building OKstays.com: an AI-powered hotel search that finally filters hotels based on what travelers actually care about.
🧠 Why I built this:
Because every time I booked a hotel, I’d waste hours manually scanning reviews to figure out basic things like:
Is it actually quiet at night?
Do people complain about dirt or bad smells?
Is the AC good or just decorative?
Will I wake up to natural light… or flickering LEDs?
Worse: I'd have to do this across multiple sites. It was slow, tedious, and still unreliable.
So I built OKstays to automate that.

We use AI to analyze thousands of reviews and score hotels on what truly matters, not just vague star ratings or review counts.
Each hotel gets ranked across 5 real-world categories:
