About
Hi all,
I’ve been building 120 AI Chat, a native AI client. My focus is on delivering a true native experience: fast, responsive, and well-integrated with the operating system. Right now it’s available for macOS, and I’m planning to bring the same native approach to Windows and Linux soon.
Current features
Native macOS build (no Electron), designed for performance and system integration
Multi-threaded conversations for handling different topics or projects in parallel
Reasoning model support for tasks that need deeper context
Image generation with several models: Gemini Flash 2.5 Image, GPT Image 1, Grok Image 2, Stable Diffusion, and FLUX 1 (via Hugging Face)
Integrations with Hugging Face and OpenRouter to access a wide range of models
Developer-friendly interface with code themes, syntax highlighting, and clean formatting
Local data storage so conversations remain on your machine
Coming soon
File attachments (e.g. PDFs, logs, notes)
Chat with image input
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration
Native builds for Windows and Linux
License giveaway
This is still early, and I’d love to get feedback from developers and power users. If you’d like to try it out, I’m giving away free licenses — just send me an email at hello@120.dev
