Market maps are visuals that group companies by industry segments and are a go-to for VCs, consultants, and analysts to create compelling pitch decks, reports, and competitive analyses. But they can be time consuming to create (especially as they might contain hundreds of companies logos). I spotted this issue on LinkedIn and Reddit, where folks talked about about spending hours hunting for logos on Google, cropping them to consistent sizes, and arranging them in tools like PowerPoint or Figma. It’s tedious, prone to mistakes like blurry logos or uneven layouts, and pulls focus from actual analysis that matters. My solution: Paste a list of domains and segments, LogoMap parses it, fetches logos via APIs, and lays them out in segments on a canvas. A custom grid algorithm ensures logos fit neatly without overlap, resizing dynamically to match segment sizes. The Excalidraw canvas lets you drag, resize, add text/shapes, or change backgrounds. You can export the graphics for further tweaks or share it on social media as it is.
