It fills the gap read-later apps struggle with: social posts, comments, partial excerpts, and login-gated content. I built DustpanPaste because I love finding thoughtful writing online — but I hated how often I ended up finishing it on a bright screen.
A lot of things I want to read later don’t work well with traditional read-later apps: social posts, comments, partial excerpts, or text behind logins. I’d often end up reading them on my phone anyway, even though I prefer e-ink.
So I made a small tool for myself: copy the text I care about → turn it into a clean reading page → send it to Instapaper → read it later on e-ink.
