The Bilt Calculator lets you calculate how many Bilt Points you earn from rent, mortgage, and everyday spending under Bilt’s new credit cards with the Option 1 and Option 2 systems. You can quickly see the total points you'd earn on a monthly or annual basis, determine your effective earn rates, and compare against other credit cards like the Venture X, DoubleCash, etc.
Almost all edge cases are accounted for:
For Option 1, if you don't spend at least 25% of your monthly rent on non-rent expenses, you automatically earn just 250 Bilt Points when you make your housing payment
For Option 2, you can only redeem Bilt Cash against your monthly housing payment. Since we only know that $3 Bilt Cash = 100 Bilt Points (when redeemed against rent/mortgage), we elect to value any "excess Bilt Cash" at that value, assuming you can redeem it in the future
The Obsidian Card earns 3x points on either grocery or restaurants, not both categories
The calculator focuses on ongoing monthly value and does not factor in welcome bonuses, limited-time promotions, or subjective point valuations. The Bilt Calculator is designed to replace spreadsheets and guesswork by showing your true effective earn rate, grounded in math.
